Dirty Soles Footwear Group Creates a Custom adidas for the New Jersey Devils’ Brand New Third Jersey

New Jersey is getting a new jersey — seriously. For the first time in the organization’s history, the New Jersey Devils are getting a brand new third jersey. Fans have long been asking for a primary black jersey and their wish is finally granted. Their new third jersey design has an all-over black makeup with red accents and white stripes. To celebrate the new design, Dirty Soles Footwear Group created a custom New Jersey Devils x adidas “Third Jersey.”

Locally based in Newark, New Jersey, Dirty Soles Footwear Group is a Black-owned design studio that creates custom sneakers. For their partnership with the New Jersey Devils, Dirty Soles crafted a hand-painted adidas Metro Attitude sneaker inspired by the new jersey design. The upper has a shiny black exterior that is accented the adidas Three-Stripes in white. This detail ties in perfectly with the third jersey’s elbow stripes, making for an effortless connection. The top of each tongue is painted with New Jersey branding. One side proudly boasts “Made in Jersey,” while the other shows off the Devils logo.

Dirty Soles Footwear Group is all about serving the youth in their community and this sneaker is no exception. This one-of-a-kind custom will be auctioned off to the public, with proceeds funding the Devils Youth Foundation — an organization that develops programs and activities for children. The highest bidder will have the opportunity to customize their own pair of sneakers with an icon of their choice.

The bidding for the New Jersey Devils x adidas “Third Jersey” will begin on December 8, 2021. Head to The Dirty Soles Foundation for additional info. For more adidas releases and updates on all your favorite sneakers, follow @NiceKicks on Instagram.
